2-Day Intensive

Whether just starting out or an experienced actor, students at any level in their training will benefit from this class. Teaching solid techniques to ensure a good foundation including specifics on how to fully and quickly embody different emotions, essentials on how to breakdown a script properly, and specifics techniques on how to craft dynamic & strong choices through character analysis. If you are an experienced actor this class will help revive and refresh your skills (and teach you some new tools) - if you are a new actor you will learn an indispensable skill set that you can build on moving forward.

Too many classes out there focus on only scene work each week, mainly teaching how to approach “that weeks scene” alone. At Actorsite we want all of our actors to have a foundation of proven techniques that they can apply no matter what the scene is. This is extremely important as many new actors' entire preparation process mostly includes memorizing lines, and many experienced actors often end up making vague choices that don’t allow them to shine to their fullest potential. The fundamentals class will establish a structure and method teaching actors to show many layers, levels and colors in their work.
