Voice Over Class ending with a Demo!
*PREREQUISITE*
Completion of Voice Over Fundamentals is required(4 week class) before taking VoiceOver Class ending with a Demo! . If you are unable to make the group class times please reach out to Coach Valerie via email Valerie@actorsite.com she can schedule 2 hours of private instruction with you to learn the required material at a time that fits in your schedule ($135 per hour).
Course Overview:
Dive into the captivating world of voice acting with our 4-week virtual VoiceOver class. This dynamic course goes beyond the ordinary, guiding you through the exciting realms of Commercial copy for radio and television and Animation copy for character voices in TV and film. Throughout the class, you'll discover and refine your unique vocal “signature,” making your voice stand out and a demo to prove it.
Professional Demo:
After recording live in class, you’ll have one week to submit your final recording for professional editing (including equalization, compression, and mastering). You'll receive a high-quality MP3 demo clip, perfect for submitting and pitching yourself for voiceover roles!
Weekly Breakdown:
Week 1: Introduction to Commercial and Animation copy, which will be provided ahead of time. We’ll review these scripts together in class.
Week 2: Submit an MP3 of your commercial read as homework. Receive feedback in a callback-style review with detailed notes.
Week 3: Submit an MP3 of your animation read as homework. Receive feedback in a callback-style review with detailed notes.
Week 4: Record your chosen script live in class for your demo scratch clip, guided by Coach Valerie.
