What You’ll Learn
In our Voiceover Fundamentals class, you'll gain essential skills through a structured, week-by-week approach designed to set you on the right track for success as a voiceover actor.
Script Breakdown (Week 1)
Begin with the basics, learn how to quickly break down scripts while learning key voiceover terms like walla, efforts, pre-life/post-life, and more, using worksheets and examples to solidify your understanding.
Character Voice Development (Week 2)
Learn to use character art and descriptions as inspiration to discover the perfect voice print for different roles, developing a unique voice that aligns with the character’s personality and story.
Tone, Style, & Vocal Variety (Week 3)
Understand how tone and style influence your overall performance, and explore how adjusting pitch, tone, and resonance can create a wide range of vocal sounds. Practice techniques that help you craft a voiceover read that resonates with your audience. Additionally, master controlled breathing to support your vocal delivery, enhancing clarity and articulation to ensure your voice is heard and understood.
Mock Audition (Week 4)
Put all your skills to the test in a mock audition setting, applying everything you've learned to deliver a polished, professional performance.
Our classes go beyond technical skills, inspiring creativity and building confidence, empowering you to make bold choices and deliver voiceover reads that are authentic and believable.
