YOUNG ACTORS

Ages 4-7

Week 1: IMPROV

Young actors will play imagination & quick thinking games to keep their minds engaged, while working on their storytelling ability and nurturing their creativity.  We will work on having them show their unique personality while answering questions, building confidence & having fun!  

Week 2: COMMERCIAL

Students will be sent a commercial to prepare ahead of time and they will receive constructive criticism and redirects on it during class. We will also start touching base on audition & set approved behavior and expectations.

Week 3: TV/FILM SCRIPT

Students will be sent a a comedy or drama scene to prepare ahead of time and they will receive constructive criticism and redirects on it during class. We will also continue building on audition & set approved behavior and expectations.

Week 4: SELFTAPE/MOCK AUDITION

If you are looking to up your callback & booking from tape ratio or still figuring out the technical standpoint (or both) this week will answer your questions! Our coaches have spent years perfecting the ideal self-tape and will be sharing their proven tips & tricks with you.  Students will choose either the tv/film script or commercial from previous weeks and then selftape it as if it was an audition for our final week! Actors (and parents) will be given technical notes as needed and all tapes will be shown during class with more redirects given before students perform their scene again in a “live zoom callback” setting. We will help your young actor learn to "Book the Room" even if it's a virtual casting office.
